On Sunday morning (11.10.2015) a bust of Claudio Abbado was unveiled by Martin Hoffmann and the sculptor Bertrand Freiesleben. The bust will ultimately be placed in the “Südfoyer”, opposite the bust of Herbert von Karajan. The ceremony was followed with great interest by many friends of the orchestra – and of Claudio Abbado.
